Policies to Attract Investment
Lao Cai People’s Committee fully invested provincial budget in the implementation of ground clearance and compensation, and in technical infrastructure. Land will be allocated, rent for free to domestic and foreign investors from 11 to 15 years depending on project; preferential corporate income-tax of 10% for first 15 years, since the operation starts; exempt from corporate income-tax for 4 years since it has taxable income and a 50% reduction of the payable tax amount for nine subsequent years; 50% reduction of personal income tax who are liable to personal income tax including Vietnamese and foreigners working in Lao Cai border-gate economic zone. |
