Since established in 1949, CS HOLDINGS CO., LTD. has been the forerunner among domestic welding material suppliers in Korea. It has provided excellent and reliable quality products to many industrial sectors including ship building, automobile manufacturing, construction, and heavy chemical manufacturing, contributing to those businesses.
In January 2010, we announced that we had changed our company name from CHOSUN WELDING CO., LTD. to CS HOLDINGS CO., LTD. as we converted to a holding
company structure.

Products of the company

CR-13

Applications Welding of vehicles, machines and light structural steels. Surface dressing of heavy steel
structure.
Characteristics CR-13 is a high titania type electrode, whose usability is excellent in all position welding.

CR-13 is especially suitable for welding of light structural steels because arc stability,

slag removal and bead appearance are good and its penetration is shallow.
Notes on usage (1) Pay attention not to exceed the range of proper currents. Welding with excessive
current not only lowers X-ray soundness, but also causes increase of spatter, undercut
and insufficient slag covering.

(2) Dry the electrodes at 70~100℃ for 30~60 minutes before use. Excessive moisture
absorption lowers usability and may result in some porosities.

CL-100

Applications Welding of pipes, buildings, storage tanks and general structures.
Characteristics CL-100 is a cellulose type electrode for the vertical down welding of cross-country
pipelines made particularly for root bead, hot pass, filler and capping passes. In addition
light slag formation, stable arc, good penetration and easy puddle controlling make this
electrode an excellent choice for pipe welding.
Notes on usage (1) Pay attention not to use the currents exceeding the recommended currents, because
the proper currents for cellulose type electrodes are lower in comparison with those
for ordinary type electrodes.
(2) As this electrode is prone to absorb moisture, store it with care.
(3) Dry the electrodes at 70~100℃ for 30~60 minutes before use.

LTI-25

Applications Welding of ship hulls, vehicles, machinery, buildings and bridges.
Characteristics LTI-25 is an iron powder lime titania type electrode which provides highly efficient welding
by high deposition rate and good re-arcing property. This is characterized by exceptionally
welding speed increase, easy slag removal even from narrow grooves and outstanding
bead appearance.
Notes on usage (1) Pay attention not to exceed the range of proper currents. Welding with excessive
current not only lower X-ray soundness, but also causes increase of spatter, undercut
and insufficient slag covering.
(2) Dry the electrodes at 70~100℃ for 30~60 minutes before use. Excessive moisture
absorption lowers usability and may result in some porosities.

CS-200

Applications Welding of ship buildings, bridges, rail way cars, pressure vessels and other general
structures.
Characteristics CS-200 is ilmenite type covered electrode which is designed for better weldability in
particular.

As its crack resistibility and X-ray soundness are excellent, structural steels with heavy sections
up to about 25mm can be welded with CS-200. The penetration is deeper compared
with high titania and lime titania type electrodes.
Notes on usage (1) Pay attention not to exceed the range of proper currents. Welding with excessive current
not only lowers X-ray soundness, but also causes increase of spatter, undercut and insufficient
slag covering.

(2) Dry the electrodes at 70~100℃ for 30~60 minutes before use. Excessive moisture absorption
lowers usability and may result in some porosities.

(3) Excessive drying before use causes less penetration and overheating of the electrode.
