Policies to Attract Investment
Ma Lu Thang border gate economic zone is operating under the investment policy specified in Decision No. 72/2013/QB-TTg dated 26/11/2013 of the Prime Minister on the regulation mechanisms, financial policy for EZ gate; Circular No. 109/2014/TT-BTC dated 15/08/2014 of the Ministry of Finance guiding the implementation of some provisions of Decision No.72/2013/QB-TTg; Decision No. 08/2013/QD-UBND dated 03/6/2013 issued regulations on incentives, investment support, order and procedures for implementation of incentives to support investment in Lai Chau province. |

Infrastructure
Transportation system: Highway leading to Ma Lu Thang border gate economic zone was basically established meeting the requirements of large tonnage vehicles serving the export-import and convenient for immigration, tourism. Internal road system: basically established and synchronized with the total length of 6 km, meeting the export-import demand, entry and exit via the border gate. Power supply: there are a 35 KV grid and 0.4 KV low tension to ensure business activities and daily life, meeting the requirement of Ma Lu Thang border gate economic zone and it’s new rural development. Water supply: focal gate area has been invested in power plants with capacity of l,000m3/day; sufficient for demand of local enterprises, institutions and natives. Communication: Most communes are covered with mobile telecommunications network, internet has been provided to the downtown area and some crowed area. |
