NBSC, formerly known as Nghe An Bus Station Enterprise, was established on May 29, 1995, which is a subsidiary of Nghe An Department of Transportation, operating under the model of non-business economic unit.
In April 1997, the unit was transformed into a public utility enterprise with the capital of VND 2,163,000,000.
In July 2004, following the policy of the State on equitization, the enterprise was transformed into a joint stock company under the decision No. 2502 / QĐ-UB-DMDN dated 07/07/2004 of Nghe An People's Committee An, with the initial chartered capital of 8.359 billion VND, of which the State holds 59.1%, the employees in NBSC account for 40.9%.
In November 2008, NBSC raised its chartered capital to VND 13 billion, of which the State holds 48.98%, other shareholders hold 51.02%.
In April 2009, NBSC increased its chartered capital to VND 16 billion, of which the State holds 39.79%, strategic shareholders hold 18.75% and other shareholders hold 41.46%.
In May 2009 NBS was recognized as a public company by the State Securities Commission.
