Ha Noi Transitco Corporation was established in accordance with Decision No. 45/2001 / QD-UB dated 29/6/2001 of the People's Committee of Hanoi based on the original status of 4 companies:

Hanoi Bus Company
Nam Ha Passenger Transport Company
Hanoi Tourist Car Company
Hanoi Electric Scooter Company

After a period of effective operation, especially in the field of public transportation, the Hanoi People's Committee issued two decisions: Decision 112/2004 / QD-UB dated 20 April 2004 and Decision Decree No. 72/2004 / QD-UB dated May 14, 2004 on the establishment of Hanoi Transportation Corporation.

The corporation is organized and operated in the form of corporation invested and established by its own companies (parent company - subsidiary company). In particular, Ha Noi Transport Corporation plays the role of parent company to directly carry out its business activities and takes the rights and obligations of owners or shareholders or partners of its own companies.
